Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday Kenyan Defence Minister Aden Bare Duale. The meeting was attended by Minister of Defence and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki.
The Kenyan defence minister conveyed to President Sisi the greetings of President William Ruto, and stressed eagerness to carry on with activating the distinguished bilateral relations between both countries in all fields, Presidency Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said.
The two sides discussed various topics pertaining to bilateral ties in light of a mutual keenness to bolster partnership and co-operation between the two countries.
President Sisi and the Kenyan defence minister discussed military and security cooperation as well as international and regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza Strip, the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa and their repercussions on Peace and security in the continent.
Minister Duale lauded Egypt’s role in establishing security and stability in Africa, and underlined his country’s keenness to cooperate and coordinate with Egypt to strengthen joint African action.
