Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has described the June 30 Revolution as a unique revolution in the history of popular revolutions.

In a speech marking the eighth anniversary of the revolution, the president said Egypt has managed to restore its national identity after its great people corrected the previous track to meet their aspirations and live in a prosperous and better life for them and the coming generations.

The president hailed the ability of the Egyptian people to overcome the challenges and achieve there unity.

The president said that the Egyptians countered all kinds of challenges during the past years either terrorism or instability, pointing out that the army and police personnel managed to besiege terrorism and overcome all attempts to spread instability and chaos.

He said the state also managed to go ahead with a comprehensive development process with the aim of developing every part of the country.

The president pointed out that the awareness of people contributed to backing the state efforts to implement a comprehensive strategic vision to advance the country in all fields including launching a national economic and social program to promote the values of modern science in order to enable every citizen in the country to live a decent life.

President Sisi said the state entered in a race against time to meet the aspirations of the Egyptians during the past years through establishing integrated national projects in all fields.

The president called on all citizens to pursue efforts to overcome challenges imposed on the world including COVID-19.

He pointed out that the state has made great economic achievements, citing reports issued by international economic and development institutions which affirmed Egypt’s success in that domain.

The president greeted all Egyptians calling on them to stand shoulder to shoulder to pursue the progress and prosperity of the homeland
