President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reviewed in a phone call this evening the developments of a number of regional issues, including in the foremost the situation in Libya and Ethiopia’s Nile dam file.
In his call with the UK prime minister, President Sisi reaffirmed the paramount importance of the Ethiopian dam issue, describing it as a matter of national security as well as highlighting Egypt’s sticking to its water rights through reaching a binding legal agreement that guarantees clear rules for the process of filling and operating the dam.
