Egyptian Ambassador in Bucharest Moayad el Dalie has handed over an invitation from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis to attend the climate change conference (COP 27) due to be held in November in Sharm el-Sheikh.
On its Facebook on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said that this came during Dalie’s meeting with Advisor of Romanian President Luminița-Teodora Odobescu to discuss means to boost bilateral ties between Egypt and Romania.
Meanwhile, Odobescu expressed the keenness of the Romanian president on promoting relations with Egypt and deepening the political dialogue at the different levels.
During the meeting, Dalie asserted the importance of increasing trade exchange between Egypt and Romania and activating co-operation in the different domains of education, culture, industry, energy and information and technology.
