Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Friday inspected projects of axes and roads in Giza Governorate.
The president embarked on an inspection tour of the axis of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer, which is a new artery in the governorate.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said the axis is divided into four main sectors.
President Sisi inspected as well Ahmed Orabi axis, which includes six traffic lanes to each direction.
Ahmed Orabi Axis was linked to the Ring Road and the axis of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer to become an alternative axis solving many traffic problems in Giza, the spokesman said.
Radi added the new axes in Giza are considered life arteries and new roads that will mainly contribute to reducing travel time in the governorate as part of the national plan for axes and roads nationwide to scale up economic development as per the sustainable development strategy in the state.
