Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited on Wednesday the Military Academy in an inspection tour, with the attendance of several high-level military personnel, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi.
Accompanied by Defense and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar, President Sisi inspected the physical and military trainings and activities conducted by the military cadets, added the spokesman.
During his tour, President Sisi met with the military cadets, during which he shed light on the State’s efforts to enhance development in the country and attain stability in the region, according to the spokesman.
President Sisi also pointed out to the efforts exerted to promote co-operation with the various world countries and establish balanced ties in order to attain security and stability, Radi added.
President Sisi also urged the Military Academy students to maintain their physical fitness and mental readiness as well as to follow the military’s code of honour and values so that they would be capable of protecting the nation, he further said.
The spokesman, meanwhile, said that President Sisi saluted the sacrifices and efforts of the Armed Forces in maintaining security and stability in the country.
