Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected on Monday a number of livestock and dairy projects in Menofia’s Sadat City.
The president listened to a detailed explanation from Chairman of the National Contracting Company Karam Salem on the Scientific Veterinary Centre for Research and Training in Sadat City.
He said that the centre was established on an area of 4,000 square metres and houses 29 labs and a conference hall, accommodating 320 persons.
A four-feddan research farm is attached to the centre, he said.
Salem added that the integrated animal and dairy production complex was established on an area of 1,000 feddans to accommodate 5,000 dairy cattle and 3,000 beef cattle.
In addition, the centre accommodates a veterinary hospital, an administrative building, two feed factories, eight alternative power generators, water tanks and two wastewater treatment plants, Salem noted.
