NEW DELHI – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held on Saturday a number of side meetings with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang and Brazilian President Lula da Silva on the sidelines of the 2023 G20 New Delhi summit, said Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
On the sidelines of the summit, President Sisi met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Comoros and current President of the African Union Assoumani Azali and World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom.
The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit kicked off in the Indian capital New Delhi Saturday morning with the participation of President Sisi and the leaders of 30 countries. The summit will last until Sunday.
