President Abdel Fattah El Sisi praised on Sunday relations between Egypt and Spain and highlighted Egypt’s interest in developing and achieving a qualitative leap in the level of mutual cooperation in various fields in light of the great potential of the two countries to achieve an integrated development partnership.
The President’s remarks came during a phone call he received from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
In the phone call, the President also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
For his part, the Spanish prime minister affirmed keenness to advance the various horizons of cooperation with Egypt, especially at the investment level in order to enhance the success of existing Spanish projects in many sectors in Egypt, such as transport, renewable energy and other development fields.
