Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi headed to Doha on Tuesday morning on an official two-day visit, which is the first of its kind by the president to Qatar, in response to the invitation of the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The visit, the first of its kind by President Sisi to Qatar, is the culmination of the intensive mutual discussions during the recent period between the two countries, with the aim of strengthening the frameworks of joint bilateral cooperation at all levels.
During the visit, President Sisi will discuss with the Emir of Qatar, the most important aspects of bilateral relations as well as consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues of common interest during the current stage, which require concerted efforts to protect Arab national security.
