Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Saturday with his Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nausėda on the sidelines of the UN climate change conference, COP28 in Dubai.
Both leaders voiced their countries’ keenness to boost bilateral ties, cement cooperation and continue coordination on political issues of common interest, said the presidential spokesman.
They probed a number of regional and international issues and challenges facing African and European countries, topped by terrorism and illegal immigration.
Both leaders reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the negative repercussions of the Russia-Ukraine crisis on global economy.
