BERLIN- Egyptian President Abel Fattah El Sisi and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier started on Monday an official session of talks at the presidential palace in Berlin.
Upon arrival at the presidential palace, President Sisi was received by the German president.
The two presidents posed for a photo op. President Sisi also signed a note in the protocol book.
During his current visit to Berlin, President Sisi is scheduled to hold several meetings with a host of German officials, including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, to discuss ways of boosting bilateral ties.
The meetings come within the framework of the two countries’ keenness on promoting cooperation and continuing consultation toward a range of issues of mutual interest.
