Sisi follows up on efforts to support local trawler industry production

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday called for enhancing the local industry of modern fishing boats across the republic and supporting the initiatives of fishermen to increase fish production.

Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady quoted Sisi as saying that supporting the local industry of trawlers would improve the economic conditions of fishermen, promote food security and support the national economy in implementation of the state’s firm strategy to make use the Egypt’s natural resources.
