President Abdel Fattah El Sisi presents unlimited support to the issue of medicine and follows it up on daily basis, Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag el Din said.
President Sisi supports the Egyptian industry and co-operation with the major international companies to work and participate strongly in the Egyptian markets, he pointed out.
In his word during the inauguration of the fourth edition of the Al-Ahram Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Conference on Saturday, held under the rubric “facing challenges and boosting innovation”, Tag el Din lauded Gypto Pharma City which has an effective role currently.
Egypt was able to localize insulin industry, he said, adding that Egypt is looking forward to more development.
It is a national duty to support the companies operating in Egypt and support the pharmaceutical industries and locally manufactured products in light of the international and regional crises, he said.
There is strong political, financial and strategic support to the pharmaceutical industries in Egypt, he said.
