Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Saturday Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary László Kövér in the presence of Egyptian Parliament Speaker Hanafy el Gebaly and Hungarian Ambassador to Egypt András Kovács.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said that President Sisi expressed Egypt’s appreciation of the depth of historical relations between Egypt and Hungary.
Kövér lauded the strong ties binding Egypt and Hungary, asserting keenness on boosting their partnership in numerous fields especially the parliamentary domain.
The meeting tackled means to activate cooperation frameworks and develop bilateral relations in many areas in addition to reviewing a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly the repercussions of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, the spokesman said.
