Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Sunday that Egypt seeks to increase industrial investments by the private sector – whether Egyptian or foreign.
The private sector is encouraged to contribute to the national industry and achieve a quantum leap in the volume and quality of Egyptian products, Sisi said during a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The meeting took up a number of top-priority economic and service files, with focus on efforts to give the national industry a shot in the arm and increase its value added, said the presidential spokesman.
Sisi also followed up on service files that have a direct impact on citizens, particularly the sectors of health, education and tourism, the spokesman noted.
The president also reviewed efforts to reduce inflation and guarantee commodities are available on the markets, he added.
