President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday’s evening will embark on a European tour that will take him to Denmark, Norway and the Republic of Ireland.
During his visit to Denmark, President Sisi will hold talks with Denmark’s king, prime minister and speaker of the Danish parliament, said Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed el Shennawy
The spokesman added the president will participate in a number of economic events that will witness the signing of the strategic partnership between Egypt and Denmark and the inking of a number of memorandums of understanding in various fields.
Following his visit to Denmark, President Sisi will fly to Norway, where he will hold talks with the Scandinavian country’s king, prime minister and speaker of the Norwegian parliament, the spokesman said.
The spokesman noted President Sisi will meet CEOs of some Norwegian companies working in Egypt.
The president’s visit to Norway will see the signing of a number of cooperation agreements.
At the final stop of his tour, President Sisi will head to the Republic of Ireland, where he will hold talks with the Irish president and prime minister on opportunities available to enhance cooperation between the two countries, as well as coordinating positions on international issues of common interest.
