CAIRO- Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Tuesday that Egypt will work during its presidency of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern African (COMESA) group to build on previous achievements for meeting the aspirations of the peoples of the COMESA member states.
Addressing the 21st session of the COMESA summit which kicked off in the New Administrative Capital, he expressed confidence that the summit meeting will come up with practical recommendations for serving the goals of economic and regional integration.
Sisis has stressed the importance of consolidating efforts to face regional challenges topped by COVID-19.
President Sisi thanked the president of Madagascar, the president of the former session of the summit, for his sincere efforts during his presidency of the group.
