Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted on Wednesday Egypt’s readiness to support Libya’s security and stability as they are very important for Egypt’s national security.
This came during his meeting with Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi on the sidelines of the Arab summit in Algeria, Presidency Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
Sisi also hailed the deep-rooted relations between the Egyptian and Yemeni governments and peoples. He also underlined Egypt’s firm stance to support Yemen’s unity and sovereignty.
He also called for continuing efforts aiming at renewing truce in Yemen to pave the way to reach a permanent ceasefire to allow for reaching a political settlement.
While Alimi hailed Egypt’s stance in supporting Yemen and the region’s security and stability.
