The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday said Egypt is ready for producing thousands of megawatts of renewable energy to produce green hydrogen not in Egypt only, but also African countries similar to Tunisia, Mauritania, Algeria, and other African countries.
Delivering a speech during a roundtable titled “Investing in the Future of Energy: Green Hydrogen” held on the fringe of the UN Climate Summit, Sisi noted that he met with several heads of green hydrogen companies, who are attending the conference, and discussed plans to produce green hydrogen.
The president expressed hope that more countries would enter this field rapidly, thanking all attendees for their proposals made during the roundtable.
