Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Egypt faced unprecedented challenges at all levels over the past years.
At the international level, the coronavirus pandemic broke out and several conflicts have erupted, thus affecting the international economy, inflation rates, and prices.
Before the pandemic, a wave of chaos and political and security instability hit several countries, causing the collapse of some countries and the spread of the danger of terrorism.
During the 35th cultural seminar of the Armed Forces on the Martyr’s Day, Sisi said Egypt has faced domestic challenges represented in pressure on the national economy which was confronted through comprehensive structural and reform measures that have begun to reap their fruits.
He referred to the rise in growth rates achieved by the Egyptian economy in parallel with efforts exerted by the Armed Forces and the police to uproot terrorism.
He said the whole world is witnessing Egypt’s achievements while facing all these challenges, adding that Egypt is implementing a comprehensive strategic vision to build a strong and advanced country.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi reviewed the march of development in the country as well as the sacrifices offered by the brave Egyptian personnel.
Sisi said the Martyr’s Day is an occasion for honouring the loyal Egyptians who sacrificed for their country.
Sisi voiced appreciation to the great Egyptian people and the families of martyrs.
