CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed Monday Tahyia Misr (Long Live Egypt) Fund to allocate LE1 billion to support the “end to the waiting lists initiative” which aims to expedite treatment for patients in need of urgent surgeries, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
The initiative, launched in 2018, includes surgeries in heart catheterisation, bone, ophthalmology, tumors, brain catheters, cardiac catheters, brain and nerves, kidney transplant, liver transplant and cochlear transplant.
