President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed protecting and preserving heritage of Egyptian radio and television through converting all radio and television tapes belonging to the authority into digital media and to utilize all available content to be incorporated into the digital platform planned to be established at the National Media Authority (NMA).
Official spokesperson for the Presidency Mohamed el-Shennawy said, President Sisi also instructed during his meeting Thursday with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat to proceed with preparing the international website for the Qur’an Radio.
NMA’s head Ahmed Maslamani and Presidential Media Advisor Mohsen Abdel Nabi took part in the meeting.
All drives are meant to preserve heritage of reciters and tawasheeh supplicants and protect all programs that have been broadcast on Quran Radio since its establishment in 1964, added the spokesman.
