Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed the government to step up efforts to expand investment in Egyptian human resources, explore and capitalise on all available development opportunities, and guide investments to yield the highest returns for citizens.
The President’s remarks came during his meeting on Tuesday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Saeed.
The President was briefed during the meeting on the progress of several files of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, including the key features of the state’s investment plan for the upcoming fiscal year 2024/2025.
The President was also updated on the progress of the implementation of the current fiscal year plan 2023/2024 and its key sectors, which include prioritising the development of human resources, primarily focusing on the health and education.
