President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for facilitating procedures for General Secondary School Certificate (GSSC) exams as part of a new system to ensure that students perform the examinations smoothly and easily.

According to the new system, paper exams would be an available alternative alongside the electronic one.
During his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Minister of Education Tarek Shawki and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, the president reviewed the latest preparations for the
GSSC exams for the current academic year 2020/2021, in which the new system will be applied, and joint efforts
being made in co-operation between the ministries of education and communications in order to facilitate the new system, which covers about 2,500 schools nationwide, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.

President Sisi also reviewed the results of the experimental tests that have been conducted so far in preparation for the GSSC exams that will be held in July, as part of an advanced system for questions, electronic exams and
