CAIRO- Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi delegated on Saturday a number of presidential chamberlains to convey Christmas greetings to Christian denominations and attend celebrations marking the occasion.
President Sisi delegated Mohamed Negm to the Coptic Catholics sect, Hossam Zaatar to the Syriac Orthodox and Mohamed Yahia to the Armenian Catholics.
The president also delegated a number of police major generals to extend greetings and attend Christmas celebrations by many Christian denominations in the country, including those of the Episcopal Church, the Roman Catholics, the Syriac Catholics, Maronite Catholics, Caldan Catholics and the Latin Catholics.
