Marking United Nations Day, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sent a warm message of congratulations to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on Monday.
The President also delegated Mohamed Atef El Amin from the Presidency of the Republic to visit the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Cairo to extend Egypt’s greetings and best wishes on the international occasion, reaffirming the country’s commitment to supporting the UN’s mission and global initiatives.
The United Nations celebrated its 80th anniversary on October 24, which marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter.
