Egyptian Ambassador to Italy, Bassam Rady, attended on Sunday the Easter Mass at the Coptic Church in Rome.
He conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s congratulations to the Coptic community in Italy and to Anba Barnaba, the bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Turin and Rome.
He quoted the president as writing in a cable: It gives me great pleasure to send Egyptian Copts abroad my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Glorious Resurrection Day.
“I wish you all success and for our beloved Egypt more development and prosperity,” the president said.
