Egyptian Supreme Constitutional Court President, Saeed Marie, referred Sunday to backing by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for the automation of legal proceedings on the road to achieving complete justice and facilitating litigation.
He added during a virtual meeting of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts that the facilitation of litigation was a constitutional right of each citizen. Justice Marie participated in the meeting at an invitation from his counterpart in Kazakhstan.
The meeting focused on the role the internet plays in supporting the rule of law.
Discussions during the meeting also focused on the utilization of the internet in the litigation.
