President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has attended the graduation ceremony of new batches of military academies at the headquarters of the Military Academy in the New Administrative Capital.

The event coincides with the Armed Forces’ celebration of the 51st anniversary of the October 6 victory.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is attending the ceremony, alongside military commanders, ministers and statesmen.

The ceremony is set to feature the graduation of the 118th class of the Military Academy, the 75th class of the Naval Academy, the 91st class of the Air Academy, the 61st class of the Military Technical College, the 52nd class of the Air Defense Academy, and the 53rd class of the Technological Academy.

The celebration began Thursday evening with the national anthems of both Egypt and the United Arab Emirates being played.

During the graduation ceremony, a documentary titled “The New Republic” was screened to showcase Egypt’s efforts over the past 10 years to establish a modern and fitting republic for the nation’s stature and its people.

The documentary emphasized that Egypt chose the challenging path of comprehensive reform to address all obstacles.

The film detailed the role of the Armed Forces in collaborating with the Egyptian people to achieve inclusive development.

Moreover, the documentary highlighted the relocation of key Armed Forces headquarters to the New Administrative Capital, equipped with infrastructure and technological advancements to keep pace with ongoing developments in all branches.
