JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in Jeddah on Thursday to participate in the 32nd session of the Arab League Council at the summit level.
Sisi’s participation in the summit reflects Egypt’s keenness to foster ties with Arab countries and support efforts to propel joint action mechanisms and unite ranks to serve the interests of all Arab countries, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said Thursday.
The Jeddah summit aims to strengthen consultation and coordination among Arab countries to maintain security and stability of the region in light of ongoing developments and crises at regional and international levels, Fahmy added.
