Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in the UAE on Wednesday to participate in “Abu Dhabi summit” that will group the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member states.
President Sisi’s participation comes within the framework of Egypt’s keenness on boosting and developing distinguished ties with all sisterly countries partaking in the gathering, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
It also aims to promote mechanisms of joint Arab action, as the summit targets enhancing consultation and coordination, with a view to achieving regional and international security and stability, added the spokesman.
