LUSAKA– Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at his residence in Zambia, where he will attend the COMESA summit on Thursday.
He was welcomed by senior state officials in Zambia. A folkloric show was performed to celebrate Sisi’s arrival in Lusaka earlier Wednesday.
Sisi will hand over the presidency of the COMESA to Zambia during the 22nd summit of the organization here tomorrow.
Thursday’s summit will be attended by heads of state and government from 21 African countries. They will discuss means to push forward the development process and enhance the economic and trade integration among member states.
Sisi is in Zambia as part of an African tour that also includes Mozambique.
