Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at the Irish government HQ in Dublin Wednesday for talks with Prime Minister Simon Harris.
Sisi first signed the official visitors’ book before his one-on-one meeting with Harris. Later today, he will have a working lunch and broader talks involving delegations from both countries.
The discussions are expected to focus on expanding bilateral cooperation in all fields.
Sisi will highlight Egypt’s sustainable development efforts, and invite Irish companies to explore investment opportunities in Egypt, especially in renewable energy, green technology and advanced industries.
Sisi’s visit to Ireland marks the final leg of his European tour, which also included stops in Denmark and Norway.
