CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Friday that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was a loyal friend to Egypt and supportive in all times and conditions.
He added that the Egyptian-Japanese ties witnessed an unprecedented boost in his term of duty.
On his official Facebook page, Sisi offered condolences over the death of Abe who was a great leader.
Abe was shot dead on Friday while delivering a stump speech in the western city of Nara two days ahead of a national election.
