CAIRO – Sinai’s tribal chieftains have expressed their backing for the political leadership to maintain Egypt’s safety, security and stability.
On Sinai Liberation Day, the tribal chieftains told MENA on Thursday the State exerted great efforts to combat terrorism and ensure security in Sinai.
Sheikh Abdullah Selim Johama, head of Sinai mujahideen association, and sheikh Abdul Qader Abdul Hie, head of el-Shorbagy tribe in Arish, told MENA that Sinai tribal chieftains support the political leadership’s efforts to achieve development and guarantee security in Sinai.
They also praised the great sacrifices of the Armed Forces and police personnel to uproot terrorism and maintain stability in Sinai.
