Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on Tuesday expressed their pride over the level of distinguished relations binding Egypt and Jordan at the popular and official levels.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Ahmed Hafez said the two ministers, who met on the fringe of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Davos, discussed means of pushing forward relations at the bilateral as well as the trilateral level with Iraqi.
They covered means of activating a trilateral mechanism for cooperation between Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
They also addressed the latest developments at the regional and international levels especially the Palestinian cause as well as the latest developments in the Arab region.
The two ministers agreed on the need for working out political solutions for the region’s crises in order to achieve stability and prosperity for the Arab peoples.
