Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his visiting Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan held an expanded session of talks here Saturday to probe bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Middle East.
In the presence of the official Egyptian and Turkish delegations, the two ministers had lengthy discussions that focused on aspects of political relations, advancing economic cooperation and enhancing investments as well as coordination regarding the crisis in the Gaza Strip, efforts to stop the escalation, and supporting Palestinian rights, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
