Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry underlined during a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly the importance of immediate halt of the Israeli military escalation in Gaza.
On X account, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Shoukry stressed the importance of removing obstacles – for which Egypt is not responsible – to allow access of humanitarian aid and exit of foreigners.
