Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri has called for an immediate truce in the Gaza Strip, pointing out to the risks of Israeli expansion of its ground operations in the enclave.
This came in a phone call that Shoukri received from Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský on the escalations in the Palestinian enclave.
In a tweet on X, previously Twitter, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Shoukri necessitated rallying international efforts to guarantee the sustainable delivery of aid supplies to the Palestinian brethren.
