Head of the National Press Authority (NPA), Abdel Sadeq el-Shorbagi, has sent a congratulatory cable to President Sisi, on the 69th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.

El-Shorbagi wrote in his cable Sunday that the Egyptian people set the most wonderful example of supporting their Armed Forces for achieving a noble goal to preserve the Egyptian state.

The July 23 Revolution was a glorious uprising that we are inspired by its goals until now, he added. “The alliance between the Egyptian people and the Armed Forces once more demonstrated itself in the June 30 Revolution in 2013 under” Sisi’s leadership, to restore the state and to preserve the dignity of the Egyptian people, the NPA Chief wrote in the cable.  History confirms once again that the Armed Forces is the strong shield that protects the country from destruction and chaos, el-Shorbagi noted.

The world at large is closely watching Egypt’s achievements in all fields amid colossal challenges at the regional and the international levels, he said.
