Sharm El Sheikh Airport receives 1st flight from Tashkent

Sharm El Sheikh International Airport on Tuesday received the first flight from Tashkent International Airport of Uzbekistan, with 165 passengers onboard.

Upon landing at the Egyptian airport, the flight was celebrated with a customary water salute and the passengers were warmly greeted for arrangements had already been in place to ensure their smooth arrival.

A similar flight will be operated on a weekly basis to increase the number of tourists from new destinations during the current summer season.
