Senate Undersecretary Phoebe Fawzy has said that Egypt’s transport sector witnessed unprecedented progress, turning the country a regional hub for trade and logistics.
During a session Monday to debate the government policy on developing the transport sector, Fawzy said the government, upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi, enabled the private sector to take part in the development process to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
She said the government managed to develop the transport system in line with the most advanced technology which provided good economic and industrial services in the fields of roads, railway or ports.
