Egyptian Speaker of the Senate Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq on Wednesday received Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and his accompanying delegation.
Iohannis is currently paying a visit to Egypt.
The talks took up ways of boosting co-operation between the two friendly countries.
Abdel Razeq said he is looking forward that historical relations binding Egypt and Romania would see more development on all fronts.
In turn, Iohannis underlined the importance of shared cooperation between the two countries in the different fields.
He invited Abdel Razeq to visit the Romanian parliament to boost ties between members of the two parliaments
