Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation Pilot Montaser Manna toured Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, as part of the inspection tours carried out by the Higher Committee for Security and Environmental Inspection at airports.
The tour began by inspecting Terminal No. (2), where he inspected travel and arrival halls, duty-free shops and passport counters in the building. He was briefed on the security measures and precautionary measures, especially the sterilization operations that are carried out on an ongoing basis and applied inside the travel and arrival halls at the airport, as well as procedures for sterilizing bags on belts and ensuring the application of the highest standards recommended by international health and aviation organizations.
The Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation also inspected the quarantine office at the airport and reassured the workflow and made sure that all health and preventive checks were applied to the passengers as well as inspecting all security measures and the surveillance camera system inside and outside the airport.
Manna stressed the need to follow up on the application of the highest standards of health and preventive safety at the airport to ensure the safety of workers and visitors to Egyptian airports.
