DUBAI/CAIRO – The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) announced on Tuesday signing of a deal with a business company on strategic co-operation in building and operating an integrated industrial complex for green energy technology on an area of 2 million cubic metres inside the affiliate zones of SCZONE.
A press release said on Tuesday the signing came on the sidelines of the participation of the SCZONE in the Climate Summit COP28 in the United Arab Emirates.
The press release said SCZONE chairman Walid Gamal El-Dien signed the deal with chiefs of Engazaat Company and Chint Global. A framework agreement will soon be signed to finalize the feasibility and financial studies during 2024, it added.
