CAIRO – Egypt’s Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR) Karam Gabr has urged media bodies to raise awareness among Arab peoples about combatting terrorism and protecting the Arab identity.
Speaking to CBC TV channel, he congratulated state-run media bodies and Egyptians on the successful launch of the new Nilesat 301 that contributes to supporting the media sector.
Gabr lauded the media boom achieved under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi throughout eight years in office.
He also praised the capabilities of the army whose personnel make great sacrifices to defend the homeland.
