Egypt’s Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Hany Sewilam has underlined the need to encourage creativity and research to find innovative solutions for facing water resources management-linked challenges.
The minister’s remarks came during a meeting held on Thursday with the teamwork of the Joint Cooperation in Applied Research Program (JCAR); a long-term Program between Egypt and the Netherlands in water-related topics, to review the project’s progress.
He thanked the teamwork members for their great efforts, urging them to do further efforts to serve the Irrigation Ministry’s vision to achieve integrated management of water potentials and enhance sustainable development of water, land and resources.
Sewilam also praised strong cooperation between Egypt and the Netherlands since the 1970s, directing for strengthening partnership between Egyptian and Dutch institutes.
