Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar said on Monday the renewal of the Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) certificates issued by the Airports Council International (ACI) boosts confidence in Egyptian airports and sends a message of assurance to the world that all travelers to and from Egyptian airports enjoy safe travel.
The minister’s remarks came after six Egyptian airports, namely Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, Aswan and Borg El Arab, succeeded for the second year in a row in renewing AHA certificates.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, Manar asserted the importance of intensifying precautionary measures at all Egyptian airports to face Covid-19 and its variants.
