The Reform and Renaissance Party has urged President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to run in the coming presidential election.
During a meeting of its political bureau, the party described the president as a historical and exceptional leader who managed to lead the country under complicated circumstances and gross challenges following the June 30 Revolution in 2013.
The party said that president Sisi is the only person who can salvage Egypt from foreign challenges and economic hardships in the aftermath of inflation, price hikes and pound devaluation caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
It said that President Sisi supports the political life in Egypt and political dialogues among all parties, and also managed to empower women and launch mega national projects including road, transportation and industrial ventures.
It pointed out to important presidential initiatives such as Decent Life, which aims at developing rural areas and the 100 million health program, which offers health services to millions of Egyptians.
He praised the achievements made by Sisi in military industrialization and arms diversification along with political success.
